Great affordable item
This is my second time ordering it. I have no complaints. It does its job plus it’s cheaper than buying one at the local pool place.
Good Quality - Holds Up To Cleaning
We bought these instead of the "name brand" cartridge filters. They fit well in our Pentair Clean and Clear system. So far we have washed them once and the quality has held up. We clean our filters every two months and so far so good. Our pool has not had any algae blooms or other problems with chemistry while using these filters. Definitely a great value and I would recommend.

Start with the part number printed on your old filter or on the tank label, and type it into the finder on our home page. If the number has worn off, measure the length, the outside diameter and the size of the top and bottom openings; every product page lists those next to the cross-reference.
Is a Future Way filter as good as the original?
Our pool and spa cartridges use trilobal, NSF/ANSI 50 certified media and are cut to the original dimensions. Air purifier filters use H13 True HEPA and activated carbon where the original does. We design them to fit and perform like the part they replace, at a lower price.
Is this a single filter or a multi-pack?
It depends on the product, and we say so in the title and on the pack-size buttons. Four-element pool tanks are always sold as a set of four, because the elements should be changed together.
How often should I replace a pool cartridge?
Rinse whenever the pressure gauge reads 8–10 psi above its clean reading, and plan on a new cartridge every one to two seasons. Small above-ground cartridges load up much faster and are usually swapped every couple of weeks in summer.
How often do air purifier filters need changing?
Most HEPA filters in our line are rated for six to eight months of daily use. Carbon pre-filters wear out sooner, usually every two to three months. Pets, cooking and wildfire smoke shorten both.

Pool filter cartridges for Hayward, Pentair, Jandy and Intex
Our pool filter cartridges cover the systems most American backyards run on. For Hayward we make the C900 and C1200 cartridges for Star-Clear Plus tanks, the CC1500 for XStream and the wide C150S for single-element SwimClear filters, plus four-element sets for SwimClear C3030, C4000, C4030 and C5030.
For Pentair there are the Clean & Clear CC150 and CC200 cartridges with their 6-inch cores and the Clean & Clear Plus CCP320 and CCP520 four-packs. Jandy owners will find the CS150, CS200 and CS250 single cartridges and the CV340 and CV460 sets for CV and CL tanks. Above-ground pools are covered by the Intex Type A/C, Type B and Type H replacement cartridges.
How to choose the right replacement cartridge
Start with the number printed on the old filter or on the tank label. A single size often goes by several names: the Hayward C1200, for example, is also sold as Pleatco PA120, Unicel C-8412 and Filbur FC-1293. We list every cross-reference number on the product page and in the part-number finder at the top of this page.
If the label has worn off, measure three things: the overall length from end cap to end cap, the outside diameter across the pleats, and the size of the top and bottom openings. A quarter of an inch decides whether a cartridge seals, which is why each Future Way product page carries a fit check with all three measurements.
Trilobal, NSF/ANSI 50 certified filter media
Every Future Way pool and spa cartridge is made with trilobal polyester fabric certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 50 for material safety and structural integrity. The three-lobed fibers keep space open between strands, so dirt, pollen, sunscreen film and body oils settle deep in the fabric instead of forming a skin on the surface.
That means longer runs between cleanings and a cartridge that recovers its flow after a simple hose rinse. Reinforced end caps resist chlorine and heat, and a free-flow core spreads water evenly so the pump does not strain against one clogged patch.
Hot tub and spa filters
A hot tub asks more of its filter than a pool does: a few hundred gallons of warm water shared by several bathers. Our spa filters replace the most common drop-in sizes, including PRB25-IN, PRB35-IN for Thermospa, PWK30 for Watkins Hot Springs and PFF42TC for Lifesmart and AquaTerra, as well as the Type VI filter for Coleman SaluSpa and Lay-Z-Spa inflatable tubs.
Most come in pairs so one filter can dry while the other works. Rinse a spa filter every two to four weeks, soak it in a cartridge cleaner every few months and replace it about once a year for clear, comfortable water every time you soak.
Air purifier filters: H13 True HEPA and activated carbon
Indoors, Future Way air purifier filters fit LEVOIT Core 200S, Core Mini and Core 300, Dyson Pure Cool Link TP01, Pure Hot+Cool Link HP01 and the TP04 / HP04 / DP04 generation, Winix 5500-2 and C545, GermGuardian AC5000 series, Honeywell HPA300 pre-filters and 3M Filtrete room purifiers.
Where the original filter uses them, ours pair an H13 True HEPA layer that captures 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns with activated carbon for smoke, cooking smells and pet odors. Most HEPA filters last six to eight months of daily use; carbon pre-filters need changing sooner. After every swap, reset the purifier's filter reminder.
Humidifier wick filters
Our humidifier wicks replace AIRCARE MAF1 and MAF2 filters for Essick Air and Kenmore consoles, Honeywell Filter A (HAC-504) and Filter C (HC-888) for cool-mist units, and Holmes and Sunbeam Filter B (HWF64). They are made from smell-resistant wood-fiber fabric in a dense mesh that stays upright when soaked.
Minerals in tap water slowly crust the top of any wick. When the upper edge turns hard, yellow or brown, output drops; in heating season that usually means a fresh wick every one to two months. Buying in two- to four-packs keeps a spare ready for swap day.
